MSC’s comprehensive solutions cover the broad array of simulation tools from FEA to CFD. SC/Tetra, MSC’s CFD solution now includes SmartBlades. SmartBlades is an analysis tool specifically for axial fan designers that enables the engineer to easily create CAD geometry of an axial-fan and predict its performance. Typically this type of solution would require a user experienced in CAD, and CFD however, using SmartBlades the user needs no previous experience with CAE software. This innovative product makes axial fan development faster, easier, and much less expensive for the manufacture.

Attendees will receive an overview on SmartBlades that includes a demonstration of its features and a case study. This webinar will demonstrate how SmartBlades can help users to.

  • Quickly and easily create 3-D axial fan CAD geometries (without prior CAD experience)
  • Predict fan performance curves (without prior CFD experience)
  • Utilize virtual testing (CFD) to aid in the axial fan design process
  • Shorten the entire fan design process
