This webinar will illustrate how simulation tools can be used to quickly compute allowable values of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) for standard tests. The workflow will be exposed, the standard tests will be covered through the implementation of multi-scale material modeling technology such as, Digimat Virtual Allowables (Digimat VA), as well as the progressive failure material modeling. With the micro-mechanics approach, the effect of the variability on material properties or testing conditions will be illustrated.

By utilizing these methods into your workflow, users will be able to reduce material testing time and costs by enabling them to quickly evaluate the performance of the composite upon many configurations (layups, tests).
